Alan Grayson Off His Klonopin?

in Psycho Libs

One of the biggest problems in America, isn’t from the normal people who live their lives day by day. One of the biggest problems in America is some of the elected representatives. Congressman Alan Grayson (also author of Real Bipartisanship) is a true example of what is wrong in America.

I’ll have to admit, I was happy when he grilled the Federal Reserve as to where all the money has gone. He actually had me at that. But he lost me with this video on health care reform. His hateful, angry rhetoric, arms flailing around,  is absolutely despicable.

Fortunately, people aren’t stupid. No senior citizen, Democrat or Independent in their right minds would believe that RepublicansWANT people to die. When questioned about it afterwards, he self righteously apologized. Not to the Republicans but to the families of people who have died. Said Grayson, “I apologize to the dead and their families that we haven’t voted sooner to end this holocaust in America.” Just what we need, another martyr.

This was said after it was suggested that Grayson apologize. But really, who cares if he apologizes? Will it mean he didn’t mean what he said? Nope, it’s just a stupid formality like “don’t put your elbows on the table.” Even if he apologized, he still IS what he IS, another elected nut-job.

(Okay, he probably doesn’t take Klonopin, that was a joke. Maybe he just needs an exorcism.)

Democrats are scrambling to throw “Well you did it too” statements in the Republicans faces. When Death Panels were still being considered, Florida Representative Ginny Brown-Waite said in July, “Last week Democrats released a (government option) health care bill which essentially said to America’s seniors: drop dead.” And she was right.

Likewise, when death panels were still being considered, Georgia Representative Paul Broun said Democrats’ proposal for a public insurance option “is gonna kill people.” He was right.

The Death Panels were later removed from the bill.

If Alan Grayson had really wanted to make his point, he could have done so in a better way. Republicans and some Democrats may still not have agreed with him, but he would not have been publicly placed on the whipping post. Six words, six tiny words are what turned his dramatic speech from one of consideration to one of outrage. “Republicans WANT you to die quickly.”

Hopefully he gets back on his meds or whatever he does to keep himself sane. He and Ron Paul have a good thing going on and Grayson really was awesome last month in his push to audit the Federal Reserve.
